JVS Gasfitting is run by Jason Sammut and Megan Jopson. We are based in Mt Wellington and we provide Residential & Commercial Gasfitting services Auckland wide.
We take great pride in providing 5 star customer service. We believe this is essential to grow our business and we are proud to say we have received over 200 testimonials that back this up. We are excited to say that in March 2023 we celebrated being in business 10 years!
So if you are in need of an Auckland gas fitter to install your new gas appliance or replace an existing gas fitting, we can help. We're available for all repairs and maintenance, servicing, new installations for gas hobs, gas fires and gas hot water through to the pipework for renovations or new builds.

Jason Sammut - Owner / Operator of JVS Gasfitting
Hi I'm Jason, owner/operator and the face of JVS Gasfitting. I consider myself to be professional, reliable and a respected individual in the gasfitting industry.
Having first started my career in the gas industry over 20 years ago manufacturing gas appliances, my next move was to become a Certifying Gasfitter.
After doing my training and working as a licensed gasfitter I reached my goal and obtained my Certifying gasfitter license in 2012.
My next step was to take the plunge and open my own business. In 2013 I took that step and JVS Gasfitting Ltd was registered.
Since then I have continued to gain knowledge and experience in all areas of gas installations, gas repairs & maintenance and in servicing.

Megan Jopson - Administration
Hi I'm Megan, you'll find me behind the scenes supporting Jason. I manage our website, administration, accounts and advertising.
Having come from a background of administration I feel extremely lucky to be able to use this knowledge to run our business.

Certifying Gasfitter
As a Certifying Gasfitter Jason has gained the highest gasfitting qualification available. Jason can complete both the work and sign off on the job. This means when you book your gas fitting projects with JVS Gasfitting you're getting a gasfitter with all the knowledge and experience on your job. Jason is able to complete the gas fitting tasks, as well as testing the work and issuing a Gas Certificate.
